 THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

“May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it (I Thessalonians 5:23-24).”

What a thought!! What a prayer and plea!! The definition of the Father – the God of peace, is mind-blowing. The work that He has set for Himself – to sanctify you completely, is a task that is more challenging than the highest peak. The goal of keeping ourselves blameless in spirit, soul and body is the work for each of us. Yet, He does not leave us to fend for ourselves. He has given us tools, co-workers (brothers & sisters) to help us on our journey.

He is faithful. He will complete His task. The question is will you do what is asked of you?  Noah, Daniel and Job were held up to the children of Israel for their blamelessness. Follow in His steps that we might keep ourselves ready for His coming.
